Our partner Finca Lerida was established in 1917 and is currently managed by the Areces-Chiari family who operate the farm and the famous Lerida Hotel in Boquete. Panama’s first registered shipment of coffee was from Fca Lerida and was exported to Germany in 1929 and has since stood for family, heritage, and the on-going search for excellence that inspire this traditional farm on the slopes of the Barú volcano. Finca Lérida coffee has been awarded numerous recognitions and won several competitions including Best of Panama throughout its 107 year history.
